Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, and the leading cause of cancer deaths among women.1

90% of all women diagnosed with breast cancer will be alive 5 years after diagnosis.2 This is due to major achievements over the past 40 years. Awareness has increased dramatically; diagnosis, treatment and management of breast cancer have improved.

The stage at which breast cancer is diagnosed has a significant impact on the type of treatment used and on the prognosis of the disease. Early diagnosis is essential to ensure better outcomes.
